Canadian Super Visa for Parents

A Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to come to Canada. It is a type of multiple entry visa so parents or grandparents can enter multiple times and  stay in Canada for up to two years at a time without needing to renew their status.

Super Visa is different from a visitor visa as a visitor visa is valid for a stay of up to 6 months. You have to apply for an extension to extend your stay. With a Super Visa, parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens or residents may be able to enter Canada multiple times over a period of 10 years.
