To immigrate as a self-employed person, you must:
- Have relevant experience in the cultural or athletic fields mentioned above. For instance, you must have a minimum of 2 one-year periods being self-employed in athletics or cultural activities.
- Be willing and able to be self-employed in Canada
- Meet the program’s selection criteria. The Canadian immigration office will assess your experience, education, age, language abilities, and adaptability.
- Meet medical, security and other conditions. If you’re bringing your family members, you and your family members must have a medical exam and police certificates. You should proof of fund to demonstrate you have enough money to support yourself and your family.
